Rainbow Youth Bakesale is an event organised by a group of amazing Year 10's wishing to support the LGBTQ+ through fundraising! We are wishing to raise money for a great organization called Rainbow Youth! Who dedicate themselves to supporting struggling youth members of the community.
Rainbow Youth is the best organization in New Zealand for those in the LGBTQ+ community. They offer education for the community, helping them further understand themselves and others. Additionally, they offer support services, a major need for many within the community. They do so much, and you can help by donating or holding a fundraiser of your own!
On their website, you are able to either donate or choose the option to fundraise through your work or school! After that, you have the fundraising choices to either, sell rainbow ribbons, celebrate awareness day or do online fundraising.
As our bakesale is neither of those options, we have chosen to partake in the fundraiser and then just donate all of our profit to the organization. This way, we don't have to concern ourselves with communication and simply give everything we earn to them.
Finally, here are the details! The Bakesale will occur on the 30th of June: during pride month, at lunchtime, outside of the gym! There will be dairy and gluten-free options, as we strive to include everyone here. Not only that, all baked treats will be under the price of $5
